Looking for a lawyer to do a quick signing of a separation agreement as cost effective as possible.
Main Post:
My soon to be ex and I have drafted and agreed upon a separation agreement and just need the final touch of a lawyer to make it official. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Can I just call random lawyers in my area and ask for quick legal advice?
Main Post:
And would these free consultations be protected by attorney-client privilege?
Top Comment: Consultations are protected but nobody is going to give you legal advice in them, at least not the way you want.
Quick! Do I need a lawyer for a speeding 10+ mph speeding ticket? Need to know by 3:45ish
Main Post:
I got a ticket for speeding like 10 miles over the limit. Should I just go to the prosecuter and make a deal myself? Or should I get a lawyer to do the talking? I dont want any points on the license but I know a lawyer is going to be $300 anyway...but if I go in alone, it's not really guarenteed the points get dropped :x I haven't gotten a ticket in like 4 years since I turned 17
What do reddit? Any tips to talking to a prosecuter?
EDIT: I was misinformed, It was actually 43 in a 25 so it was 18 mph over!!

Don't worry my friend you'll be A-OK. 10 over is nothing. It does have points, but you can get rid of those easily.
Chances are you will be knocked down to a 5mph over the limit, which I don't believe carries any points. They may also opt to ditch the points and still make you pay the ticket cost for 10-15mph over. Worst case, you can plead unsafe driving which carries a $250ish fine, plus $200 or so in surcharges. So for a one time $400-$450 cost you will have no record of a speeding ticket and no points on your license.
You could go into the prosecutor's office and not say a word, they'll still reduce the fine if you show up. Just be nice and be honest, you were obviously ticketed and know you were speeding. The procecutor likely sees hundreds of folks every day to work out plea bargains and speeding tickets are by far the most common. They'll have a deal for you as soon as they see what your ticket was. The only tip is to get there at least an hour before the court time so you're first in line, better chance the prosecutor will be nice to you. Other than that, just show up in decent clothes (ie. a sweater and some khakis or something).
TL;DR You do NOT need a lawyer in traffic court unless it's something like a DUI.
QUICK QUESTION: How do I find a lawyer just to ask legal questions?
Main Post:
Like someone who I can run ideas by and them know how to find the answers I'm looking for and give me legal advice...?
I just need to make friends with lawyers! Lol
